Located on the square in the historic district of Waverly, Pa. The Deli opens at 6:00 am serving coffee and breakfast sandwiches to passers by on their way to work in the Abingtons or downtown Scranton.
At noon the Deli is the place to be. The girls are busy serving up a large selection of made to order Boar's Head sandwiches, stromboli and tasty homemade deli salads to satisfy hungry patrons. A cold soft drink or some hot soup of the day fills out the lunch menu.
The Deli also sells a large variety of convenience items ... bread, milk ,eggs, news papers and other must - have items. The Deli is certainly a hub of activity throughout the day.
The Waverly Deli serves only the highest quality Boar's Head meats. Salads are handmade using only the best ingredients : all white meat chicken salad along with other fresh homemade salads and homemade soups daily. Take out dinner selections include chicken, grilled vegetables, meatloaf, London broil, meatballs and sauce, just to mention a few. |
